google classroom In-Class Assignments Only
Google Classroom will be used for assignments that are to be completed IN CLASS with Mrs. Esquivel. All HOMEWORK will be posted in ONE SPOT from now on to make things easier for both students & parents. This will also help everybody avoid any confusion with what is classwork vs homework. Please click on the HOMEWORK link for both vocabulary and reading practice. |
Homework Vocabulary & Reading
We will have weekly vocabulary & reading practice homework assignments. You are responsible for completing these on your own time-- homework means HOME work. These assignments are located on Google Classroom. You will have a vocabulary quiz at the end of every week, so be ready! |

Classroom Agenda Board
Pay attention! You need to KNOW what's up there!
There is a board in my classroom called our daily "Agenda". This board tells students what they will be doing in class each day and what assignments they are expected to complete. Their Reading homework will always consist of A/R reading EVERY six weeks, Reading practice assignments on Google Classroom EVERY week, and vocabulary practice assignments EVERY week. So, even though kids may not have traditional "homework" in my class that is assigned daily, they will always have reading and vocabulary work to do for me.
Students are responsible for completing all in-class work, whether they are in class or not. How do they know what to do? They get that information from the agenda board, and if they are absent, they get that info from my webpage. If students are out for sports or personal reasons, they will be responsible for checking with me and also for accessing the website to find out what they are supposed to do.
If you ever have any questions, please give me a call at 830-486-9553.
